On 8 March 2011 on the occasion of International Women's Day, the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum proposed initiative entitled Women of the myth to Poseidon. Visitors will be guided through the reading of texts of ancient authors, in a striking "inner journey" that will lead them to relive the exciting events and the overwhelming feelings of great heroines of the past represented on the metopes archaic sanctuary of Hera at Sele.
